Remediation is the business, not an addendum.
Every project reduces the volume and chemical reactivity of existing tailings storage, improves the water leaving the site, and is designed and operated in partnership with the First Nations on whose territories it sits. Recovery economics fund the remediation; the two are inseparable.
Water
Closed-loop process water. Downstream water chemistry improvements documented against pre-project baselines. Independent monitoring aligned with Yukon Water Board requirements.
Land & residues
De-watered, chemically stabilized residues. Placement designed around permafrost thermal regime and long-term stability, with reduced overall footprint versus the pre-project state.
First Nations partnership
Projects advanced only with the consent and participation of the First Nations on whose traditional territories they sit. Agreements, benefits, and shared oversight structured project by project.
Local economy
Yukon employment, procurement, and training prioritized wherever operationally viable. Northern operations run by northerners.
Governance
Public-company disclosure discipline. Independent technical reporting under applicable standards. Board committees appropriate to scale.
Reporting
Annual ESG statement to be published once operations commence. Framework alignment to be confirmed with First Nations partners and stakeholders.
Principle
Take metal out. Leave the site better than we found it. Report both.
