Northern metals,
recovered.
Tailwater Technologies is a Yukon-based metals technology company recovering silver and companion metals from legacy northern tailings — returning value to the land, and the land to a better state than we found it.
The Yukon — home ground, and a jurisdiction with deep mining history and modern regulatory posture.
The thesis
A century of northern milling left behind tailings that still contain recoverable silver. Modern hydrometallurgy, designed for cold-climate operation, can extract that value while reducing tailings volume and improving downstream water quality.

The process
Three steps.
A repeatable, modular workflow designed for northern sites — deployed alongside partner operations or as a stand-alone re-processing facility.
- 01
Assay
Characterize the tailings body: grade, mineralogy, deleterious elements, and geotechnical properties.
- 02
Extract
Cold-tolerant hydrometallurgical circuit tuned to the ore. Silver, plus gold and base-metal by-products where economic.
- 03
Return
De-watered, chemically stabilized residues returned to storage with reduced volume, improved water chemistry, and permafrost-aware placement.
